Ray Robinson nominated
for a Stylus Award
Toronto, On – April 15th, 2010, After a 6 year hiatus, the modern day Marvin Gaye is back! Juno nominated R&B soul sensation, Ray Robinson has returned to his love of music with his new buzz single Just for Tonight featuring MC Kid Kut. The single just got nominated for the R&B single of the year for the Upcoming Stylus Award that will be held at the Queen Elizabeth theatre on May 31st.
He will also be performing during the half time for the Nike all stars Basketball Tournament on May 14th @ the ACC in Toronto. Keep your eyes open, this is just the beginning for this multi talent artist who have many projects for the summer ahead.

Kim Davis joins “Youth Day” Festivities
Juno nominated singer and songwriter Kim Davis is well known for her music, however her achievements in philanthropy are quickly moving to the forefront of her career. Thiss Thursday July 8, 2010, Kim will join CTV news anchor, Ken Shaw to discuss her involvement in Youth Day 2010, organized by Tylaine Duggan of Kids Play & Youth Outlook (KPYO)
The press conference will take place from 4-7pm at Woo lounge (Yonge and Dundas street) and Kim along with noteworthy politicians and artists will discuss why being a part of Youth Day is so important to them.
“Giving back is something that has always been important to me,” says Kim. “Youth Day is even more special because often we forget about children and the effect we have on them as mentors, musicians, parents etc. I think it’s going to be a great day and I’m excited to be a part of it in the capacity that I am.”
Kim is scheduled to headline the event which takes place on Sunday July 25, 2010 and is expected to bring over 15,000 youth from all over the world to Dundas Square for a day of performing arts and fun. Expected guests include Kardinal Offishal, K’Naan, Director, Lil X, MTV host Nicole Holness and more!

Kim Davis sings to
‘GIVE PEACE A DANCE’
On March 11, 2010, singer, songwriter and professed activist, Kim Davis will perform to “Give Peace a Dance”, where students will dance to raise funds and awareness against youth violence and violence in schools. The performance will take place at Loretto College, 151 Rosemount Ave, Toronto, ON.
Loretto College's ESP committee collaborates with 13th division liaison officers to produce an event with hopes of bringing Secondary schools together as a community to raise awareness on school violence. The "Give Peace a Dance" project will collaboratively send the message that violence in school communities needs to end and that teenagers are the ones who CAN make a difference.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards LOVE - Leave out Violence a non-profit organization that helps youth who have lived with violence, to end violence and become community leaders in violence prevention. The proceeds will also go towards safe school projects initiated by Loretto's ESP student committee members. One of the projects focuses on working with intermediate elementary school girls to resolve issues of female bullying/violence.
